Wan Hai linesThe major shipping companies in Taiwan announced an increase in profits for the first half of 2015. The companies Evergreen, YangMing and WanHai got strong revenues and profits increase, amid the decreasing crude oil prices and despite of overcapacity of the market. Wan Hai net profit in H1 2015 amounted to 1.1 billion USD, which represents 7.1% growth from the result in same period of 2014. In the same time the profit of the company for June decreased with 2.89% to 176 million USD.

Yang Ming has improved performance in H1 2015 with 5.15% to 2.15 billion USD, but also lowered earning in June 2015 with 7.04% to 373 million USD.

Evergreen, which is the largest operator of container shipping line in Taiwan, increased its profit by 0.89% from 2.38 billion USD in the first six months of 2015. As a difference from the other container operators Evergreen improved its profits in June 2015 with 3.42% to 394 million USD.
