Solidatus is one of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the UK, according to Deloitte’s 2021 UK Technology Fast 50 rankings.

Solidatus made a series of new hires to its leadership team as the data lineage and visualisation tool application prepares a new era of business growth.

Louise Green has been named Vice President of Marketing, Simon Horrobin as Vice President of Product, and Alun Baker has been appointed Chairman of the Solidatus Board.

Trio of hires to fuel business growth

Louise Green, the new Vice President of Marketing at Solidatus, is a B2B marketer with more than 30 years’ experience in the data industry, having led marketing at Bureau van Dijk from its early inception to its sale in 2017 to Moody’s.

Simon Horrobin, the new Vice President of Product at Solidatus, is a tech veteran with 30 years’ experience, namely in Artificial Intelligence and programming, and is an advocate for expanding data delivery channels and cultivating new ways of approaching data management.

Alun Baker, the new Chairman of the Solidatus Board, is a technology chairman and CEO with 25 years of experience, having covered outsourcing, cybersecurity, ERP and data and process integration across many verticals including regulatory and compliance, financial services, telecoms and technology markets.

Philip Miller, co-founder and co-CEO at Solidatus Labs, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Louise, Simon, and Alun to the Solidatus team. Adding their combined talent, expertise and leadership will be a gamechanger for the organization as we look to build upon the success of 2021.”

Solidatus is one of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the UK, according to Deloitte’s 2021 UK Technology Fast 50 rankings. In February 2021, the company completed a £14 million Series A funding round to fuel its expansion across Europe, Asia, and the US.

Philip Dutton, co-founder and co-CEO at Solidatus Labs, added: “This new trio of hires provides our team with an abundance of experience and really reinforces our position as we continue the upward trajectory we’ve experienced in recent years. All three will play integral roles in driving growth into new markets.”

Louise Green joins as VP Marketing after Chris Crang’s departure to Moody’s ESG

In 2021, Solidatus made other key hires to make the most out of the £14 million February fundraiser. The firm announced David Northmore as Vice President of Sales and Chris Crang as Vice President of Marketing.

Chris Crang eventually left in August 2021 in order to join Moody’s ESG solutions as VP of Marketing & Engagement. Louise Green was hired to replace Crang in Solidatus’ marketing efforts.

David Northmore joined Solidatus following eight years as Area VP at MarkLogic and will focus on developing new processes and scaling the team as the business expands both domestically and overseas while maintaining its established reputation for fuelling positive client outcomes.

Also in 2021, Solidatus appointed ex-HSBC Lorraine Waters as Chief Data Officer to champion the platform and engage with key stakeholders including current and future clients, regulators, and strategic partners.

She will also develop the product to meet stakeholder needs, market opportunities, and upcoming challenges, as well as support the business in the areas of data privacy, ESG, and financial crime risk management.

Ms. Waters joins Solidatus from HSBC, where she played a number of roles, including Chief Data Officer for Global Compliance, Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance, Interim Chief Data Officer (US), and Group Head of Data Governance and Deputy Group CDO.

Solidatus will leverage her unrivaled knowledge of facing data complexity issues within a large multinational organization, which also includes her experience as Global Head of Data Management at RBS, and sitting on many industry forums and advisory boards, such as the EDM Council.
