StoneX appoints Thomas Friesleben as EMEA Managing Director of StoneX Pro

StoneX Group has appointed Thomas Friesleben as Managing Director to lead the growth of its StoneX Pro division in EMEA.

Based in Frankfurt, Germany, Thomas Friesleben will report to Eric Donovan, Global Head of Institutional FX, StoneX Group.

StoneX Pro offers a comprehensive suite of institutional FX and CFD services, covering all major and emerging market pairs, as well as forwards, options, NDF’s, and physical settlement services.

The CFD product line includes streaming liquidity across 12,000 products across FX, indices, metals, commodities, and equities, via its proprietary trading platforms and API’s for clients across the institutional spectrum including banks, alternative asset firms, corporates, family offices, retail brokers, and proprietary traders.

Thomas Friesleben joined StoneX in 2021 as Senior Sales of StoneX Global Payments, which

He previously spent two years consulting in the DMCC, UAE focusing on bespoke treasury and banking solutions for institutional and corporate clients. Before this, he was with Credit Suisse AG Dubai and was responsible for UHNWI & Corporate Structured Solutions.

Most of his career, about 17 years, was spent at Deutsche Bank AG, holding various roles in Germany, Singapore, and Dubai, including Head of Corporate Treasury Solutions for MENA.
