Trive hires Niklas Helmreich to lead new European brokerage

Trive Europe, an upcoming multi-asset investment platform that will be launched next month, has appointed Niklas Helmreich as its new Managing Director based in Frankfurt, Germany.

Niklas Helmreich, who will be in charge of leading the brand’s expansion across Europe, has more than 27 years of experience in international financial services businesses, including developing and building top brokerage firms.

He joins Trive from FlatexDEGIRO, where he was Chief Operations Officer and Managing Director of the firm which is one of the largest online brokers in Europe. Prior to that, he held the role of CMC Markets DACH regional CEO, where he played a vital role in the restructuring of its operations.

Other key roles in his extensive career includes being one of the founders of the first discount broker in Europe, DAB bank. He later became involved in the takeover of the first pan European discount broker, Selftrade.

Multi asset space is expanding
