The Ukrainian gas company Naftogaz transfer to Gazprom 15 million USD on 6th March 2015. Kiev officially complained about the reduction of gas supply of 23 million cubic meters to 8.4 million cubic meters.

A spokesman from the Ukrainian company said that in March Naftogaz has translated 30 million USD for the purchase of natural gas. Each tranche of 15 million USD ensures the delivery of 46 million cubic meters of gas, explained Alena Osmolovskaya.

Ukraine has announced that it will buy gas from Russia depending on weather conditions in March. The aim is the implementation of the plans of Kiev to cut the share of Russian gas. On March 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine prepaid gas will be enough for “just two days”. He recommended that the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, together with representatives of Gazprom to seek a solution and does not get to “needless conflict a few years ago”.
