“We are now very proud to launch a new Tokyo Stock Exchange stock trading service to customers living in Japan only two months after the initial launch of Webull App in April this year.”

Webull Japan has announced the launch of its stock trading offering, comprising of domestic stocks on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The Japanese subsidiary of the Webull Group has been preparing to offer domestic stock trading services in Japan ever since it was acquired in December 2021.

The entity, Webull Securities (Japan) Co. Ltd, released the Japanese version of Webull’s mobile securities trading app, offering US stocks and ETF trading features, in April of this year.

Webull Japan features heat maps, quant evaluations, market watches

The Tokyo-based brokerage firm has now gone live with its domestic stock trading service using the Webull App for customers living in Japan. The timing couldn’t be better. Since May, the Nikkei 225 Stock Average continues to hit post-bubble highs, attracting the attention of investors around the world.

Webull Japan’s offering includes more than 4,000 stocks, ETFs, and ETNs listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (Prime, Standard, and Growth markets).

Besides multi-functional charts, trading prices, and price board information, the Webull app is also equipped with tools such as industry-specific heat maps, quantitative evaluations, and market watches, allowing customers to analyze, and select stocks in a multifaceted manner in order to support client transactions.

Webull launched in the United States in 2018 through an SEC-registered subsidiary that is also a FINRA member. Trading over Webull’s platform is also available in Hong Kong S.A.R., Singapore, Australia, South Africa, and Japan, and regulated by the SFC, MAS, ASIC, FSCA, and FSA, respectively.

Wataru Kojima, President and Representative Director of Webull Japan, commented: “The US stock online trading service, with its fractional stock trading and 24-hour ordering capabilities, has already been well received by many customers in Japan. We are now very proud to launch a new Tokyo Stock Exchange stock trading service to customers living in Japan only two months after the initial launch of Webull App in April this year.”

Earlier this year, Webull Japan announced that it has plans to launch US Options and Chinese and Hong Kong S.A.R. securities in 2023. That offering is expected to go live soon.
