Who wants to help develop the ISO 24165 DTI standard for crypto and digital asset markets?
The call for new members comes at a time when the crypto industry is increasingly grappling with regulatory uncertainties. By shaping the ISO 24165 DTI standard, the PAC plays a vital role in creating a more structured and regulated environment for digital assets.

The Digital Token Identifier Foundation (DTIF), the exclusive Registration Authority (RA) for the International Organisation for Standardisation’s (ISO) Digital Token Identifiers (DTIs), has announced an open call for new members to join its Product Advisory Committee (PAC). The application period closes on November 30, 2023.
The PAC is a crucial entity aimed at aiding the development of the ISO 24165 DTI standard specifically for the crypto and digital asset markets. The committee serves as a robust forum for industry discussions on the impact of upcoming regulatory changes on the crypto-market landscape.
Additionally, the PAC provides recommendations for DTI implementation to DTIF and arbitrates disputes related to DTI issuance. The scope also includes advising DTIF on future product enhancements to support RA responsibilities.
PAC is key to promote DTI standard
The PAC’s current membership boasts a wide range of experts from different sectors within the crypto and digital asset markets. This includes global institutional investors, standard setting bodies, academics, asset managers, and market infrastructure providers from various regions around the world.
Denis Dounaev, DTI Product Owner, said, “We are indebted to our Product Advisory Committee members, who are actively engaged and work hard to help DTIF to promote the DTI standard to the market. The Product Advisory Committee has been key in DTIF preparations for implementation of the DTI, and plays a crucial part in ensuring DTIs are tailor made for the industry and bring further efficiencies to the market.”
Interested candidates can send their completed application forms to [email protected]. The full PAC Charter detailing the committee’s scope and responsibilities can be downloaded from DTIF’s official website.
