XTB has announced the introduction of an Auto-Invest feature to its ETF-based Investment Plans, allowing for regular top-ups of individual investment portfolios, further simplifying the process of long-term passive investing.

In the UK, passive investors now have the opportunity to regularly invest in their portfolios using the XTB app. This enhancement provides a convenient recurring payment option. Clients can set their preferred frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly) and payment method, which could be either from free funds in their XTB account or via bank transfer.

“We’re growing our passive investing footprint”

The new functionality automatically allocates additional funds according to the client’s pre-set preferences. This feature aligns with the current investment goals and can be adjusted as needed. XTB has also launched a marketing campaign in the UK to promote the growth of these Investment Plans.

XTB’s recent innovations, including the introduction of interest rates on uninvested funds, underscore its commitment to expanding its passive investment footprint. The autoinvest feature and the flexibility of recurring payments mark a significant advancement in making passive investing more accessible and hassle-free.

Joshua Raymond, Director of XTB UK, said: “In line with the approach ‘one app- many possibilities’, we’re growing our passive investing footprint to cater the needs of long-term investors who don’t want to spend much time on active portfolio management. Thanks to the addition of recurring payments and the autoinvest feature, we’ve taken passive investing to another level as it is now automated and more convenient for our.”

0% commission and zero maintenance charges

Clients can create up to 10 portfolios within the Investment Plans, each comprising up to nine ETFs. The autoinvest functionality is customizable for each portfolio and can be modified or cancelled at any time through the app. XTB ensures a cost-effective investment experience with 0% commission on ETF investing up to a certain limit and no charges for setting up or maintaining the Investment Plans.

XTB notes that for investments above a certain monthly turnover, a commission will be charged, and a currency conversion fee may apply for foreign ETFs.

XTB, founded in Poland in 2002, serves over 847,000 customers globally. It offers a wide range of instruments for trading and investing, including stocks, ETFs, and CFDs across various asset classes.
