“The addition of TAIFEX to our portfolio of connected exchanges further reflects the strong demand we are seeing for access to Asia’s derivatives markets.”

Trading Technologies has partnered with Yuanta Futures Taiwan, a Taipei based broker, to connect the TT platform to the Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX).

The platform will provide Yuanta Futures Taiwan with a combined carry broker and multi-broker solution for all international clients to access TAIFEX through TT’s global infrastructure.

TT expands further in Asia

TT provides high-performance professional trading software, infrastructure and data solutions. Its market connectivity spans six continents and its privately managed infrastructure delivers secure market access and performance.

The trading technology is designed specifically for professional traders and incorporates a broad array of customizable tools to accommodate trading strategies that range from manual point-and-click trading to single-digit microsecond automated order entry.

Yuanta Futures offers a diverse electronic operating platform, including the cutting-edge Yuanta Futures Wizard app.

The partnership with TT is part of Yuanta’s efforts to build a new era of wealth and stability for its investors, removing the aura of mystery and risk that has previously surrounded the futures market.

Mark Pottle, Regional Executive Sales Director for Trading Technologies in Asia, said: “The addition of TAIFEX to our portfolio of connected exchanges further reflects the strong demand we are seeing for access to Asia’s derivatives markets. It’s also a testament to the power of the TT platform, which allows us to add a new market destination and make it instantly available to every customer globally. We would like to extend a huge thanks to Yuanta Futures Taiwan for partnering with TT to provide this solution for our mutual customers.”

Alex Hsu, President of Yuanta Futures Taiwan, commented: “Yuanta Futures stands as one of the most innovative and professional derivative brokers in Asia. We are thrilled to become the world’s first market access provider of the Taiwan market on TT. As the Taiwan market becomes more volatile and unpredictable, finding an experienced and reliable broker like Yuanta becomes very imperative. We would like to thank TT for this cooperation and the creation of great synergy for our valued clients.”

Trading Technologies acquired by 7RIDGE

The deal should provide enough funds for the company to expand and grow even further and also look to acquire other companies that are in this line of business and that are capable of making a change to the trading industry.

Cboe and Singapore Exchange (SGX), both of which are limited partners in 7RIDGE, have also been very supportive of this acquisition and the details of the deal were not disclosed as yet.
