Sydney-based FX and CFDs broker, ACY Securities has appointed Henrick Rajamountry as its newest head of marketing.

Rajamountry will be focused on further developing the global sales of ACY Securities’ retail and institutional business, as well as technology sales and client acquisition.

He will also be tasked with steering the company’s global marketing functions, which includes many responsibilities ranging from the execution of the brand strategy to its product development efforts, corporate communications, and digital marketing agenda.

Prior to landing at the Australian broker, he spent four years as Head of Digital at Rabobank Australia, part of the world’s food and agribusiness specialist bank. This was preceded by many other roles at different companies, mostly based out of Sydney.

ACY placing a big emphasis on FinTech

His appointment comes at a time when ACY Securities is placing a big emphasis on FinTech based solutions. ACY’s sister company, Zerologix, is developing a social sharing charting platform, called Finlogix.

As such, the company expects to leverage Rajamountry’s experience in digital marketing to help strengthen its global position as they expand their retail, institutional, and Fintech offerings.

“This is an exciting time for both ACY and our suite of Fintech brands, as we maximise our reach around the globe. With a sharp focus on digital performance channels and being able to lead a team of inspired marketing executives, we are privileged to have Henrick on board to hit our global growth targets and brand positioning,” said Ashley Jessen, Chief Operating Officer of ACY Securities.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with Jimmy, Ashley and the rest of the exceptional team at ACY to add value to our clients and drive our digital marketing efforts to the next level. There is so much that ACY offers which sets us apart from our competitors. I believe we have an immense opportunity to help our clients further develop their trading strategies to gain an edge by leveraging the invaluable knowledge and insights from the talented ACY team across the globe,” added Rajamountry.

Rajamountry describes himself as a data-driven marketing executive with a passion for digital transformation, but he has no previous expertise within the FX industry. He steps into the position with over 15 years of additional experience in the marketing communication space, with the majority of his time being dedicated to digital content firms.
