Spotware launches cTrader Invite to enhance relationships between traders and partners

Rick Steves

cTrader Invite streamlines invite management, fosters collaboration between traders and partners, and enriches the trading ecosystem. It empowers traders to access valuable partner resources while providing partners with effective tools for product promotion.

Spotware Systems has introduced an innovative feature called cTrader Invite, designed to revolutionize the trading experience for both traders and partners.

This new functionality offers a comprehensive set of tools that allow users to generate and manage invite links, attribute invited traders to partners, share partner contacts, track invite statistics, and promote partners’ products, thereby enhancing the overall trading ecosystem.

cTrader Invite available in cTrader apps branded by brokers

cTrader Invite is an all-in-one functionality integrated into the cTrader platform, offering a host of features to improve the trading experience. Users can easily create and manage invite links, associate invited traders with partners, access partner information, monitor statistics, and explore partner products. This functionality brings greater convenience and efficiency to traders and partners alike.

It’s important to note that cTrader Invite is available exclusively in cTrader applications that are branded by brokers. Traders should inquire with their respective brokers if they cannot locate cTrader Invite within their cTrader suite.

In the context of cTrader Invite, a partner is an individual or entity collaborating with a broker to promote products and assist traders. On the other hand, a trader is an individual who executes trading actions on the platform. Traders can transition into partners by registering with the broker as such.

For Invited Traders

For traders who have been invited through cTrader Invite, understanding their partner and how to navigate this new ecosystem is essential. Traders can identify their current partner’s profile in the ‘Partner’ tab. This tab is central to the Invite application, and if it’s visible, the entire Invite application will appear as ‘Partner’ in the cTrader user interface.

In some cases, traders may see several partners in the ‘Partner’ tab. This tab displays the current partner as well as any other partners the trader may have encountered. However, only one partner can be considered “current” at any given time.

If a partner’s profile is invisible, it may be due to privacy settings or the absence of a partner. Traders can usually contact their partners through preferred communication channels, as listed in the ‘Partner’ tab.

In the ‘Partner’ tab of cTrader Invite, traders can access and review their partner’s products, such as Copy strategies. However, this access depends on whether the partner chooses to disclose these products. Partners can also select their favorite products from other partners to showcase.

Traders will remain with their current partner during the guaranteed attribution period. To ensure they stay with their current partner, traders should actively use the partner’s products, and the partner’s profile should remain public to prevent automatic reattribution.

After the mandatory attribution period expires, traders can manually change their current partner by selecting ‘Make Current’ on another partner’s card in the ‘Partner’ tab. Alternatively, they can follow another partner’s Invite link for automatic reattribution. In the latter case, reattribution only occurs if the trader is not using the current partner’s products and the partner’s profile is not public.

Invite links in cTrader Invite contain a partner’s nickname as a parameter (e.g., u=letstrade747). Traders can recognize partners by these links. Even if the ‘u’ parameter is manually removed from the link, it will still function within the cTrader ecosystem.

For Partners

Partners using cTrader Invite have access to a range of features and functionalities. Partners need to use attribution identifiers like broker referral links (BRL) or Partner IDs provided by their broker to set up cTrader Invite.

Partners can configure trigger actions in the ‘Settings’ tab to determine the actions that traders must complete to be redirected to the broker’s site via a BRL. Partner IDs can be assigned at both user and account levels, allowing partners to attribute users to specific trading accounts.

Partners can create and share invite links through the ‘Invite Link’ tab. This tab provides access to basic invite links and product-related invite links. Any cTrader link copied while logged into the platform will contain the partner’s nickname as a parameter, making it function as an invite link when shared.

Partners can share invite links as QR codes when physically near invited traders. These QR codes are customizable and can be generated for basic invite links and available product-related invite links. Additionally, partners can copy URLs to the clipboard or send them directly to preferred communication channels via mobile devices.

Partners can use cTrader Invite to effectively promote their products to invited traders. The platform offers mechanisms to motivate invited traders to create a cTrader ID, open trading accounts, deposit funds, and engage in trading activities.

Partners have the flexibility to hide their profile from users by disabling the ‘Make My Profile Public’ option in the ‘Profile’ settings. Alternatively, they can keep their profile public but choose not to display it in the ‘Partner’ section of their invited traders. Partners can also customize the amount of information disclosed to invited traders for both public and displayed profiles.

Fees and commissions for referral programs are typically agreed upon by partners and brokers outside of branded cTrader applications.
