Multi-asset trading via CQG supported by Dow Jones newsfeeds

Participants engaged in hands-on trading of agriculture, energy, metals, equity indices, interest rates, and foreign exchange futures contracts.

They operated on CQG’s real-time simulated electronic trading platform, with access to live market updates through Dow Jones newsfeeds and The Hightower Report.

This annual competition is a unique chance for students to learn hands-on techniques for trading futures. Teams consist of three to five members from the same university and each elect a student leader. Teams participate on a student-led team or in cooperation with a faculty advisor. Advisors have early registration access to register their teams. Advisors do not participate as members of the team during the Challenge and are ineligible to receive a prize if their team is a winner.

Eligible top teams will receive cash prizes, and all participants are invited to an exclusive in-person market education event on December 9. CME Group continues to emphasize education through resources like CME Institute and collaborations offering accessible trading knowledge for all levels.
