From September 2022 to August 2023, the Academy marked a 62% increase in its active user count, attesting to the swelling interest in cryptocurrency. Cumulatively, since its launch in 2018, Binance Academy has catered to a commendable 39 million individuals eager to unravel the mysteries of blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

The hot topics this year? Metaverse, Bitcoin, crypto wallets, and candlesticks. It seems new entrants to the crypto world are gravitating towards foundation-level insights – covering the A-Z of trading, blockchain nuances, and mastering crypto wallets, a trend that aligns seamlessly with the global trajectory towards cryptocurrency integration.

2022’s darling, the NFT, has seen a dip in interest, making way for trading principles and investment metrics like crypto candlesticks to shine brighter. The burgeoning curiosity surrounding Bitcoin and crypto wallets underscores the public’s intent to delve deeper and trade wiser. The Metaverse, intertwined with gaming phenomena and top-tier brand ventures, is firmly on the radar, signaling the digital realm’s ascendancy.

Emerging economies like Ukraine, Turkey, Bangladesh, India, and Indonesia are taking center stage in 2023, indicating a booming demand for crypto knowledge. Reflecting on this trend, Yi He, co-founder of Binance, remarked, “Faced with high inflation and limited access to traditional finance, people are seeking alternatives to protect their wealth. Crypto is the solution.
