Cocktails, hors d’oeurves, networking, golf and FX. Shift Forex to host revolutionary networking event in July

In keeping with North America’s highly sophisticated FX and electronic derivatives industry, a new and exclusive event will take place on July 27 at 360 Madison Avenue, New York

Shift Forex Select- revolutionary networking event

North America is home to the world’s most sophisticated electronic trading and exchange-traded derivatives industry, the financial markets epicenters of New York and Chicago being home to proprietary trading companies, global publicly listed institutional and retail FX firms, the world’s largest electronic venues and exchange technology conglomerates as well as the platform providers and large scale ancillary service vendors that power America’s futures and online trading sectors.

With the modernity and forward-thinking ethos of the vast, ultra-high technology institutional and retail sectors of North America is the requirement for a revolution in terms of networking and enabling firms to do business with each other, therefore this year, not an evolution, but a revolution in FX industry events is on the horizon.

Specialist FX industry professional services consultancy Shift Forex is hosting FXIC Select, an exclusive event at a beautiful rooftop venue located in the heart of New York City, on Wednesday, July 27th, with FinanceFeeds as the official media partner.

The very upper echelons of the industry will interact and discuss current important matters and how those at the very forefront of the business will shape the industry’s direction in the immediate future.

This morning, Matthew Miller, Co-Founder and COO of Shift Forex spoke to FinanceFeeds, explaining “After talking to many of our sponsors, speakers, attendees and customers we came to the conclusion that the industry is overwhelmed by all the conferences. These days, people prefer the opportunity to get together with decision makers, do some business and have a good time. So, we’ve decided to drop the panels and booths and simply host a high end party for top tier attendees.”

“To ensure quality attendees, we’ll be reviewing every application and capping the number of complimentary passes at 100. It will be a more intimate event than in the past, which ensures better networking and stronger relationships among the guests.” concluded Mr. Miller.

Ian McAfee, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shift stated “We wanted to focus this year’s event on providing value for our trusted partners and customers, so we only accepted sponsors with whom we have a deeper relationship. They know our clients personally and we work together to deliver real value to their business.”

This year’s event will take place outdoors with beautiful views of the city skyline at 360 Madison Avenue on the 24th Floor rooftop.

Guests will enjoy high end cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and great music as they discuss the future of the forex industry.

To conclude the evening, Shift will be holding a giveaway where two winners will be randomly selected to receive a Wanamaker Club Ticket to this year’s PGA Championship Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey.

The tickets, which are in high demand as they have already been sold out, will provide guests with entry to the grounds for the final round of the Championship as well as access to the Wanamaker Club, an air-conditioned, sports-bar themed pavilion with indoor seating, multiple HDTV’s and upgraded food and beverage options.
