Customers of OANDA Japan experience MT5 trade execution delays
The broker asserts that it has managed to restore the normal execution of trades on MT5 following an overload that has resulted in intermittent issues since last night.

Customers using the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform offered by OANDA Japan experienced trade execution issues today.
The broker confirmed that there have been delays in execution of trades on MT5. OANDA Japan explains that as a large amount of trades, limit and stop orders have been placed by some customers since last night, its trading system has been overloaded, which has in turn affected the transactions of other customers.
Several hours later the broker confirmed that the execution issues have been resolved and that there are no more delays.
The broker apologized for the inconvenience caused to its customers and pledged that it plans to further strengthen the system.
Let’s recall that OANDA Japan launched MT5 early this year. In December 2019, the company announced that its clients can apply for MT5 demo accounts. The brokerage noted that it had been receiving traders’ requests for the addition of MT5 for quite a long time and was happy to respond to these requests.
