eToro and BridgeWise Launch AI-Driven Smart Portfolio Focused on US Mid-Cap Stocks

eToro Acquires Zengo To Expand Self Custody Crypto Offering

eToro has announced the launch of a new AI-powered Smart Portfolio in collaboration with BridgeWise, a provider of automated investment intelligence. Named MidCapDiverse, the portfolio targets long-term opportunities in the US mid-cap segment, using a model designed to identify companies with strong fundamentals and growth potential.

The portfolio features 30 US-listed stocks with market capitalizations of up to $50 billion. These stocks were selected using BridgeWise’s proprietary AI model, which evaluates companies based on publicly available financial data and ranks them using a broad set of fundamental criteria. The portfolio aims to balance sector exposure while focusing on companies that may be overlooked by traditional research coverage.

“Mid-caps are set to benefit from lower borrowing costs”

Gil Shapira, Chief Investment Officer at eToro, commented, “We’re excited to leverage BridgeWise’s AI-driven fundamental analysis to introduce this new portfolio. Mid-cap stocks are gaining interest at the moment as investors seek to diversify away from tech mega-caps. With interest rates coming down, mid-caps are set to benefit from lower borrowing costs, enhancing their potential for innovation and market share expansion.”

Shapira added, “Focusing on the mid-cap segment, the selected stocks are large enough to demonstrate proven business models, yet small enough to have room to grow. The US-listed stocks within this portfolio are also less exposed to global risks as the majority of their revenue is generated domestically. As mid-caps are often underresearched by analysts, this portfolio gives investors a simple and automated way to potentially uncover some hidden gems.”

The launch marks eToro’s first Smart Portfolio dedicated to the mid-cap space. The firm said the strategy was designed to meet growing interest from retail investors looking for diversified exposure beyond large-cap technology stocks.

Dor Eligula, Co-founder and Chief Business Officer at BridgeWise, said, “This collaboration with eToro represents a significant step forward in democratizing access to institutional-grade insights for retail investors. Mid-cap stocks are often under the radar despite their growth potential, and our AI-powered analysis helps bring clarity to this overlooked segment. By powering the MidCapDiverse portfolio with our fundamental evaluation engine, we’re making real opportunities accessible in a market where traditional research coverage is limited.”

eToro’s Smart Portfolios are available to all users with a minimum investment of $500. Investors can monitor performance through real-time tracking tools and receive updates via eToro’s social feed, which aggregates relevant market developments. The firm currently offers a range of Smart Portfolios aligned with various market sectors and themes.
