Eventus revamps Validus platform: Case-building features, transparency, and new tools

Rick Steves

“Our innovative new UI is designed by our internal practitioners – including market, regulatory, compliance, and tech experts – but very much shaped by the valuable input and insight we gain from our users, who are faced with more challenges, pain points, and pressure than ever before.”

Eventus has taken a significant step forward by introducing its next-generation user interface (UI) for the Validus platform.

This innovative UI aims to streamline the user experience, offering enhanced case-building features, improved transparency, and a host of new tools for even more efficient trade surveillance.

The upgraded interface, designed to facilitate centralized compliance management across all asset classes, also includes state-of-the-art data visualization tools.

Designed by market, regulatory, compliance, and tech experts

Travis Schwab, Chief Executive Officer at Eventus, said: “Our innovative new UI is designed by our internal practitioners – including market, regulatory, compliance, and tech experts – but very much shaped by the valuable input and insight we gain from our users, who are faced with more challenges, pain points, and pressure than ever before. We’ve always had a focus on empowering our clients and providing maximum flexibility. This new UI takes that one step further for clients with more versatility to control their surveillance program and shape the interface to suit their unique demands and workflows, while helping them identify and evaluate any potential suspicious activity faster and more easily.”

The revamped UI introduces a centralized “cockpit” for managing alert activity, streamlining investigations, and enhancing alert management efficiency. The enhanced workflow and investigation tools are designed to accelerate alert resolution, making the surveillance process more efficient.

Furthermore, the UI offers new ways to centralize data, building on Eventus’ unique capability to ingest data in any format from any source. The newly incorporated data visualization tool empowers users to analyze trading behavior comprehensively, from summary information to detailed account activity across multiple products, procedures, and asset classes. This tool enables compliance and surveillance personnel to contextualize data, facilitating quick and precise triage, investigation, and resolution of alerts.

Validus, the platform empowered by Eventus, serves a diverse user base that includes compliance officers, regulatory professionals, legal analysts, as well as leaders in trading and financial markets. It enables users to conduct surveillance across equities, options, futures, foreign exchange (FX), fixed income, and digital assets in markets worldwide.

The launch of this cutting-edge UI reaffirms Eventus’ commitment to providing industry-leading trade surveillance solutions that empower clients to meet evolving regulatory requirements and proactively identify suspicious activity.
