Exclusive: After just 4 days in the office, ETX Capital veteran Joe Rundle leaves his MD position at GKFX, joins ThinkMarkets
A large subject of discussion in London this morning is the appointment by ThinkMarkets of Joe Rundle, after he quit his position as Managing Director of GKFX after just four days in the office, having joined from ETX Capital where he spent 12 years prior to joining GKFX.

The talk of the town in the Square Mile this morning is prominent FX industry figure Joe Rundle’s appointment today at ThinkMarkets (formerly ThinkForex) as Head of Dealing.
Mr. Rundle joins ThinkForex today from GKFX, where he was appointed Managing Director of the UK division of the Turkish brokerage, having spent just four days in the office before leaving the company.
Before joining GKFX this month which resulted in one of the shortest executive tenures in the retail FX industry’s history, Mr. Rundle spent 12 years at British spread betting stalwart ETX Capital, where he was Head of Trading and Partnerships between July 2010 and August this year, preceded by Head of CFDs and Execution between 2004 and 2010.
Coming from a background in interbank trading, Mr. Rundle was with Fleet Bank as a trader between November 2002 and 2004 before embarking on his longstanding tenure at ETX Capital.
Joining ThinkMarkets today as Head of Dealing, Mr. Rundle is the latest of a recent series of good quality recruits, another example being Adil Siddiqui, who joined ThinkMarkets as Director of Operations in mid 2016 after four years as Director of Operations and Compliance at India-focused British firm Tradenext
