Exclusive: Mariano Obludzyner leaves CPattern after just 4 months
Mariano Obludzyner joined CPattern as VP Sales in the summer of this year and has left after just four months, following his CEO position at LegacyFX which closed its doors just five months after establishment

After just four months at FX industry retention automation and management system provider CPattern, Mariano Obludzyner has left his position as VP Sales & Business Development, along with Head of Sales Aviv Harpaz who has also left CPattern.
Mr. Obludzyner joined CPattern in August after his CEO position at LegacyFX came to an end as the Cyprus-based brokerage closed its operations after just five months in business.
Prior to being appointed CEO of LegacyFX which was a company which was founded with some commonality in shareholders with broker technology solutions provider Leveate, which , at the time of inception, considered that there was potential in a merger of a brokerage and the implementation of the full arsenal of technology and services that Leverate offers, with LegacyFX company providing services directly to retail clients from its base in Limassol, Cyprus, using the license of LFS (Leverate Financial Services), which is under the auspices of CySec.
Legacy FX let all of its staff go in the spring of this year before closing its doors on May 9.
Mr. Obludzyner was Head of Customer Relations at Leverate before becoming CEO of the ill-fated LegacyFX brokerage. He held his position at Leverate for one and a half years between 2014 and early 2016, having joined the firm from Finance Magnates, where he was Director of Sales for one year until 2014.
Mr. Obludzyner had a previous tenure at Leverate, where he was Head of Sales between 2012 and 2013, having joined the company from Markets.com where he was Head of Business Development for a year.
In 2009, Mr. Obludzyner joined AvaTrade as Business Development Manager, leaving in 2011 for his appointment at Markets.com.
Back in 2008, Mr. Obludzyner joined AvaTrade as Regional Manager for Spain and the Latin American regions, this being his inaugural position in the FX industry, having previously worked for a marketing firm.
Mr. Obludzyner, who holds a first degree from Buenos Aires University and a Masters from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, is currently taking time out and according to his LinkedIn profile, “in search of his next challenge.
