“As we prepare for our next stage of growth, we need a strong technology partner who can support our automation efforts and streamline our workflow.”

Paris-based investment manager Varenne Capital has gone live with TS Imagine’s order and execution management system, TradeSmart OEMS in yet another sign of TS Imagine’s growth in 2022.

TS Imagine, born from the combination of two leading SaaS platforms, TradingScreen and Imagine Software, has recently announced the hiring of 100 further poeple to support its rapid expansion.

The provider of real-time financial securities trading, portfolio management, and risk solutions for capital markets now has over 400 employees in 10 offices worldwide and serves approximately 500 buy-side and sell-side institutions in North and South America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific, including hedge funds, traditional asset managers, pension funds, mutual funds, and financial institutions.

TradeSmart OEMS to create efficiencies at Varenne

Varenne Capital has chosen to deploy TS Imagine’s TradeSmart OEMS because it facilitates trading across multiple asset classes, increases execution capabilities, and empowers clients to handle even greater volumes.

The trading platform will automate Varenne’s execution process, support its portfolio management system, modernize and reduce time-consuming workflows and increase functionality across the firm’s trading operations.

David Mellul, Managing Partner for Varenne, said: “As we prepare for our next stage of growth, we need a strong technology partner who can support our automation efforts and streamline our workflow. We have found this with TS Imagine, and we look forward to applying their technology to our operations as we navigate these fast-moving and competitive markets.”

Andrew Morgan, President and Chief Revenue Officer of TS Imagine, said: “We are thrilled to deliver TradeSmart OEMS to Varenne, a successful, sophisticated, global investment manager, and to create efficiencies across their business and future-proof their trading operations during an important period of growth. Furthermore, as we continue to increase our footprint in France, this relationship is a testament to our strength and momentum in the market, and to our exceptional Paris-based team.”

TS Imagine promoted Thomas Bodenski to COO

TS Imagine has recently promoted Thomas Bodenski to Chief Operating Officer, in charge of the global execution of the data strategy and spearheading strategic cross-departmental and cross-product initiatives.

Thomas Bodenski, who was previously Chief Transformation and Data Officer for TS Imagine, has nearly 30 years of experience developing technology for some of the biggest names within the industry.

He has held various senior technology roles at firms including Capco and State Street, before founding trading and risk technology consultancy FOXEYE and, most recently, data and analytics firm Element22, where he was Chief Data and Analytics Officer.
