Horizon Software as MX’s new independent software vendor (ISV)

Founded over two decades ago, Horizon offers an algorithmic-focused electronic trading platform with direct connectivity to more than 80 exchanges worldwide.

The company’s ‘Trade Your Way’ philosophy consists of enabling clients to quickly create, test and implement automated trading strategies in real-time. Its platform can be easily integrated with rich APIs and allows proprietary strategies to be built while keeping traders’ code confidential.

Robert Tasca, Managing Director, Derivatives Products and Services at MX said: “We are proud to announce the certification of Horizon Software as MX’s new independent software vendor (ISV). MX continues to explore new opportunities to augment our growing global client base, and execute on our long-term, sustainable growth strategy.”

This certification demonstrates Horizon’s commitment to providing its clients with access to the most innovative trading solutions and cutting-edge technology available.”

Horizon also announced connectivity to SGX

Horizon has recently announced new connectivity to the Singapore Exchange, offering clients a faster and more efficient way to access and trade on multiple financial markets, make markets on exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and hedge.

SGX is one of the world’s hottest international marketplaces, operating equity, fixed income, currency, and commodity markets to the highest regulatory standards. As an approved vendor by the exchange, Horizon Software had the first client go live on SGX Securities Trading in November 2022.

In late 2021, Horizon Software expanded its Electronic Trading platform to include market making and agency trading functions. Offered in one single platform powered by Horizon’s algo framework, the firm’s Market Making and Algo Trading services leverage its expertise in latency, scalability and expertise in algo and execution strategies to banks and brokers.

The market making and agency trading solution features advanced functionalities in high touch, DMA, DSA and global order routing for equity and global derivatives. This will enable banks and institutional and retail brokers to meet the trading challenges of today and tomorrow.

Horizon stated that clients using their Market Making solution are now expanding towards client order flow and execution through one single platform, optimizing their running cost and implementing cross businesses logic such as Internalization or Central Risk Book.

Horizon’s Managed Services and Hosting is a complementary service that turns the solution into a one-stop shop and takes ownership of upgrades, monitoring, configuration, and full users support.
