Interactive Brokers adds new research providers to platform
Two new research providers – Hedgeye and Econoday, are available on the Interactive Brokers platform.
Electronic trading major Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:IBKR) continues to enhance the research capabilities of its platform. The latest additions include Hedgeye and Econoday.
Hedgeye Risk Management, a provider of real-time investment research and online financial content, is focused on delivering investment ideas. The firm’s investment research team, comprised of over forty analysts, offers buy-side and sell-side experience.
Hedgeye provides Interactive Brokers’ clients with real-time alerts – daily stock and ETF buy/sell signals triggered by Hedgeye CEO Keith McCullough throughout the trading day, combining his quantitative model with the research analysts’ stock ideas. McCullough also hosts a live and interactive online broadcast Real-Time Alerts Live with subscribers.

Econoday provides a smart calendar to investors. The service aims to minimize uncertainty by understanding what is really driving the markets. Econoday’s Global Premier Calendar is a trading tool that helps investors make smarter financial decisions.
This tool offers unbiased, jargon-free, market-focused analysis written by a team of senior economists, each with more than 30 years of experience covering economic indicators and the potential impact on the market. Data includes the prior release, revisions to the prior release, consensus, and actual data. Consensus is proprietary and actively managed to ensure optimum results from the forecasts submitted by economists around the world who participate in Econoday’s survey.
The calendar includes ranking of events to make sure investors know which events matter most to the market, as well as notifications of the release of economic indicators, central bank announcements/minutes, as well as unscheduled market-moving events. Daily and weekly articles broaden the coverage to include market activity generally, such as updates on stocks, bonds, and currencies.
The service also features interactive charts that provide the time series of the data, and display the consensus and the actual data when the cursor hovers over any date on the chart.
A weekly podcast called Econoday Unplugged sees economists discuss current market issues.
To subscribe to Econoday, one has to log in to Account Management, then select Manage Account > Trade Configuration > Research.
