Jelurida, the blockchain startup behind the Nxt, Ardor, and IGNIS ecosystem, has become the newest gold member of Ticino Blockchain Technologies Association (TBTA), which is comprised of industry leaders advocating for the innovation and collaboration necessary to support the cryptocurrency industry.

Located in Lugano, Switzerland, the TBTA acts as an aggregator of new and existing initiatives within a unique innovation cluster. The non-profit association combines blockchain and crypto organizations and connects them to universities, fostering the organic growth of the blockchain ecosystem at the Swiss and international levels. As such, the TBTA ecosystem links two main drivers of innovation: universities and research centers on the one hand, and enterprises active in the crypto sector on the other.

The collaboration with Jelurida, which joins the likes of MOOV Airways AG, Interchain Stiftung, EventBoost SA, Elly, Bitcoin.com, will enable TBTA to promote the adoption of its technology and expertise by Swiss-based crypto organizations and educational institutions.

Jelurida’s offering will be also utilized by a new audience of individuals pursuing industry careers, and innovators. Moreover, the knowledge will expand the Swiss education system as a whole.

TBTA President Giacomo Poretti comments: “It’s good to see how innovative our partners are in supporting and scaling blockchain projects. Thank you Jelurida for your insightful presentation at our first Think Tank of 2022. We look forward to the next developments and project collaborations between you and our partners.”

Tomislav Gountchev, Jelurida Lead Software Architect & Director, added: “Jelurida is happy to join the TBTA and contribute to the success of Lugano Plan B. We are excited about being able to establish Ticino as the blockchain innovation hub in Switzerland in collaboration with the local universities, research centers, and other enterprises.”

Founded in 2017, Jelurida Swiss SA is a software company that develops energy-efficient blockchain solutions and interoperable multichain networks. With offices on three continents, Jelurida is focused on helping enterprises capitalize on the benefits of blockchain through making it easier to deploy applications connected to its platforms – Nxt and Ardor, along with the first Child Chain, Ignis.

Jelurida says it unleashes the potential for enterprise systems to integrate with the blockchain and DApps using a smart contract life cycle management framework. Jeluria’s team has utilized its expertise to code Ignis lightweight contracts on the Ardor platform in Java, the most widely used enterprise software language on the planet. These smart contracts work on projects right from network setup, conceptualization, development, and maintenance.
