The company has introduced a completely refreshed website with a new design, advanced functionality, and reviews backed by real trading experience—each written after the PropFirms team personally invests in and completes a trading challenge with the provider.

Treating Prop Firms Differently From Forex Brokers
In 2021, COMPARE FOREX BROKERS initially incorporated prop firm reviews directly within the CompareForexBrokers website. Justin Grossbard, CEO of CompareForexBrokers, led this effort using the same methodology that had been successful for forex broker reviews. However, this approach quickly revealed its limitations as trader feedback was consistently negative.
The company then created a separate domain (propcompanies.com) with modified content, but user response remained poor as traders still found the website unhelpful.
Justin Grossbard explained: “The primary issue was that prop traders were different from traditional forex traders and were looking for different broker features. The fact that I had been comparing forex brokers for over a decade made it hard to switch my mindset, which is when Noam Korbl stepped up to the plate. His fresh perspective and understanding really led to a very different way of reviewing and comparing firms.”
Changing Domains And Starting Fresh (Again)
After Noam Korbl took over as the core research and content creator, the company made the tough decision to start completely fresh. This led to launching a new domain at https://www.prop-firms.com in 2023. The new website featured entirely redesigned templates and comparison tables built around Noam’s specialised criteria for evaluating prop trading firms.
Noam Korbl explained that the key difference with PropFirms is its more targeted approach to comparisons.
“What sets us apart is that we break down comparisons into specific details,” says Korbl. “Instead of treating all prop firms the same, we categorise them by trading instruments, account structures, funding models, and evaluation criteria.”
He adds, “It was just obvious that traders should only see providers that offer the specific trading conditions they’re looking for. That has been my goal from day one.”
The Four Pillars of the Redesigned PropFirms
In March 2025 a new design went live on the website to make the core information traders want more accessible. New content and designs have focused on four areas.
1. Comprehensive Reviews
The new review format implements the revised 2025 criteria and includes actual screenshots captured during the evaluation process. Each review reflects Noam and his team’s first-hand experience completing trading challenges with the provider.
2. Up-To-Date Comparisons
Specialised comparison templates now address different segments of the prop trading market, such as futures trading, instant funding options, and various evaluation models. These comparison tables highlight the most critical criteria traders need to make informed decisions.
3. Tools And Calculators
Building on the success of CompareForexBrokers.com and its sister site Spread-Bet.co.uk, PropFirms now offers practical trading tools including economic calendars, spread calculators, and leverage tools that help traders understand how margin affects market exposure
4. Educational Content
PropFirms has developed entirely new educational materials specifically for prop trading. This content covers essential topics ranging from how prop firms operate and generate revenue to effective strategies for successfully passing trading evaluations.
