SSV.Network and P2P.org Unite to Introduce Institutional-Grade DVT Staking API

Jack R. Mitchell

The game-changing DVT Staking API was collaboratively developed by SSV.Network and P2P.org will redefine institutional staking with its robust, seamless integration and enhanced security features.

SSV.Network

SSV.Network, a decentralized Ethereum staking infrastructure leader, has formed a strategic partnership with P2P.org, which is known for its non-custodial institutional staking services. This collaboration introduces the DVT Staking API, a significant development for integrating institutional staking services.

This API was co-developed by SSV.Network and P2P.org, streamlining the staking process for institutions, addressing diverse requirements in risk management, compliance, and other areas. It facilitates effortless initiation of staking requests powered by DVT through the SSV protocol, thereby boosting security and efficiency for end users. The API also serves as a crucial link, easing the navigating of DVT staking through P2P.org and other leading node operators. This facilitates a smooth transition to decentralized staking for P2P.org’s institutional clients.

Distributed Validator Technology (DVT), integral to this development, distributes an Ethereum validator’s responsibilities across multiple independent nodes. This approach enhances fault tolerance and security, which is key to minimizing staking risks and providing a solid framework for asset management and staking strategies.

As SSV.Network approaches its mainnet launch, it anticipates more staking applications leveraging its infrastructure to enhance and decentralize their validator operations. Developers can utilize ssv.network smart contracts to quickly deploy, scale, and decentralize various Ethereum staking applications. Post its permissionless launch (subject to DAO approval), the network will be open to all, including node operators and validators, to capitalize on its benefits.

The alliance between SSV.Network and P2P.org originated when P2P.org joined as a Mainnet Verified Operator during the SSV Limited Mainnet Launch. A grant from SSV.Network to P2P.org has been pivotal in developing and launching the DVT Staking API, intending to elevate institutional staking solutions at P2P.org. This development is among numerous applications possible with SSV.network’s decentralized validator infrastructure.

Alon Muroch, Core Team Lead at SSV.network, emphasized the network’s wide-ranging applicability: “From the largest institutional grade staking services to at-home stakers can benefit from using ssv.network infra. The goal is to have many diverse onramps to DVT-powered staking to secure and decentralize Ethereum. The P2P.org staking API is an excellent example of what can be done to promote the next era in staking.”

Alex Esin, CEO of P2P.org, lauded the DVT Staking API as a milestone in innovation, inviting all institutions and businesses to harness this advanced Staking API. He believes this will not only cater to their current staking needs but also prepare them for the decentralized future.
