Swissquote joins Fortex Hub to expand liquidity distribution

ECN trading platform and technology provider, Fortex Inc. has announced a new integration with Swissquote Group, Switzerland’s provider of online trading services.

Swissquote

The partnership is set to provide brokers with access to Swissquote’s deep liquidity pools, which is said to improve trading conditions and accelerate execution speeds.

The integration with Swissquote enables Fortex to offer top-tier liquidity, offering both bespoke and customizable streams. The process is integrated into Fortex’s Liquidity Hub, which enables banks, brokers, and asset managers to offer clients a wide range of financial products and services, meeting any risk profile.

Fortex is a leading provider of electronic communication network (ECN) trading platforms and technology solutions for forex traders and brokers. The company was founded in 1997 and has since established itself as a provider of a portfolio of brokerage solutions with a greater focus on operators offering the MetaTrader 5 platform, as successor to the MT4 continues to surge in popularity among industry participants.

Fortex’s ECN trading platform is built on a proprietary technology stack that includes advanced algorithms, intelligent routing, and real-time risk management tools. Additionally, Fortex also offers a range of other trading solutions, including white-label trading platforms, liquidity aggregation, and risk management tools.

Earlier this year, Swissquote teamed up with Sharegain to launch a securities lending program for its private clients.

This new service allows users to lend their investment assets, like stocks and certain ETFs, to well-known financial institutions. In return, they get a monthly income directly through their bank account or app. Swissquote said that joining this program involves a clear registration process and accepting a contract that explains all the risks involved.

Clients have the flexibility to lend their entire portfolio or exclude specific securities from lending. They will keep getting dividends and can sell their securities anytime they want. However, during the loan period, they won’t be able to vote in shareholder meetings and might get cash payments instead of regular dividends.
