Tradition hires Michel Everaert to integrate data science and AI

Tradition has appointed Michel Everaert as Global Head of E-Commerce and Digitalization, said the global transactional and market data platform in financial and commodity-related products.

Michel Everaert joins Tradition after 13 years at CME, most recently as Managing Director and Head of EMEA. Prior to that, he was CIO of two companies, IMEX Group and GFI Group, and played several other roles throughout the years.

Michel Everaert to lead electronic initiatives at Tradition

The new Global Head of E-Commerce and Digitalization will lead Tradition’s electronic initiatives and accelerate the transformation in its high-touch with high-tech customer-driven strategy.

According to Tradition, the company has already transitioned much of its transactional flow to automated and hybrid execution, with many platforms and processes integral to its large global client base.

Michel Everaert, however, is expected to implement the integration of multiple technology advances, data science, and artificial intelligence (AI) into a global platform for its customers.

Patrick Combes, Chairman of the Tradition Group, commented: “I am delighted that Michel is joining us at Tradition to accelerate further our business enhancement in line with our ambitious growth plans. We will be drawing on his considerable experience, as well as the wealth of knowledge he has accumulated throughout his 30-year career.”
