Vantage UK announces MT5 to facilitate multi asset trading

Rick Steves

“We are pleased to add MetaTrader 5 (MT5) to our existing suite of trading platforms”

FCA-licensed multi-asset broker Vantage has expanded its range of trading platforms to include the world-renowned MetaTrader 5 (MT5), developed by MetaQuotes.

David Shayer, Chief Executive Officer at Vantage UK, commented: “We are pleased to add MetaTrader 5 (MT5) to our existing suite of trading platforms. As a client focused company, we have seen a growing interest for more comprehensive and flexible trading solutions. The enhanced functionality provided by MetaTrader 5 (MT5) made it a clear winner in our books.”

MetaTrader 5 provides access to multiple trading markets, in-depth price analysis, better hedging options, copy trading, live market news, multiple economic calendars, over 80 technical indicators, and a comprehensive range of market order types.

Like its predecessor MetaTrader 4, the MT5 platform also supports algorithmic trading applications known as Expert Advisors (or EAs), coupled with enhanced back-testing capabilities.

With MT5, traders can choose to develop or purchase their own custom EAs in the advanced MQL5 programming language, making its implementation available to both novice and experienced traders alike.

Vantage FX rebranded to Vantage in November 2021

In November 2021, Vantage rebranded from Vantage FX as the broker broadens its reach beyond retail FX trading to become a multi-asset provider. The brokerage firm currently offers CFDs on Forex, Indices, Shares, Commodities, and Cryptocurrencies.

Vantage also cited the reason for the amendment as an attempt to further accelerate business development in new financial fields to serve clients with a global presence.

Established in 2009, Vantage is a multi-regulated broker that has regulatory licenses from ASIC (Australia), FCA (UK), and CIMA (Cayman Islands). The company claims an average trading volume of $200 billion that exchange hands on its platform each month.

Retail trading business continues to be quite robust throughout the year as market uncertainty remains high and volatility is likely to remain elevated.

Vantage partnered with McLaren Racing

In February 2022, Vantage announced a multi-year partnership with McLaren Racing as an Official Partner of the McLaren Extreme E (MX) team.

The international multi-asset broker made the announcement ahead of the launch of the 2022 season, with the first race, the Desert X Prix in Saudi Arabia, scheduled for February 19th and 20th.

Extreme E is a new concept in motorsport, that challenges teams to race off-road across remote areas of the globe, in cutting-edge electric SUV’s, to raise climate awareness.

The partnership between Vantage and McLaren Racing is a union of like-minded, globally recognized brands who believe in the same values: sustainability and diversity as well as gender equality, inclusion, and representation while championing for and advocating climate change awareness.

Vantage has partnered with McLaren’s Extreme E (MX) team because of the concept behind Extreme E. A key focus for Vantage is to provide access to trading in far flung regions of the globe, which aligns perfectly with Extreme E’s intention to raise awareness of the challenges of climate change through the locations in which it races.

Vantage joins McLaren’s MX team for its debut season in the race series, which is only in its second year, with its branding carried on the chassis side and roof of the McLaren MX race car. Drivers Tanner Foust and Emma Gilmour will also sport the Vantage colours on their racing overalls throughout this year’s 5-race season.
