After a three hour outage, Australian retail FX firm AxiTrader has restored full service to its website.

Bearing in mind that in Australia, this happened outside core business hours, the quick action by AxiTrader in restoring service demonstrates good attention by the company.

Indeed, good back up and disaster recovery systems are critical components of modern FX brokerages, exchanges and electronic trading solutions providers, as the website performs so many functions aside from being the ‘shop window’ of a brokerage, including withdrawal, deposit and dealing matters.

On this basis, hats off to AxiTrader for the fast response and resolution.
