FinanceFeeds has been informed that a new retail FX brokerage has been launched in Cyprus, its establishment having been partially funded by some of the shareholders of Leverate.

The new brokerage, which is based in Limassol, Cyprus under the name LegacyFX, will use the full technology solution from Leverate, its founding shareholders, some of whom are shareholders of Leverate itself, see the potential of the merger of a brokerage and the implementation of the full arsenal of technology and services that Leverate offers, according to the company.

Heading the new firm is Mariano Obludzyner, who, prior to taking his new position as CEO was Head of Customer Relations at Leverate, said:

This is a very exciting project. Our aim is simple: to build a successful and sustainable brokerage and build a brand for the future – a true Legacy.”

Leverate veteran Mariano, whose previous experience includes Director at AVAFX, Markets.com and Forex Magnates, further explained “I know what Leverate already provides and what is coming, therefore I approached some of Leverate’s shareholders and other investors who welcomed my inititiative. I have the utmost confidence in delivering results that will show just how successful a broker can become using smart technology like SIRIXActive while minimizing costs.”

Leverate CEO, Kobi Gur also commented, saying: “Despite losing a key employee such as Mariano, it is always a pleasure to welcome a new client or partner and this time it is close to home. The real excitement comes from having a partner that truly believes in our vision and can effectively showcase the effectiveness of Leverate technology both in terms of increasing the top line results and cutting effective costs in a scalable manner. We can also learn and develop our products with open feedback from LegacyFX as with any other customer that works with us hand in hand.

“I am sure there will be those who see conspiracies, that’s just part of life. We intend the brokerage to be treated as a client based on merit and to be the first out of many shining test cases of how using Leverate technology, business solutions and professional services can give the broker better results with less costs.”
