Gold-i combines three key products into single platform

Gold-i, a trading systems integration specialist for the financial services ‎industry, has upgraded its multi-asset liquidity aggregation and distribution offering by merging three of its key products into a single platform, called MatrixNET.

The platform combines Gold-i’s Matrix2 liquidity management platform and Crypto Switch™, its institutional digital asset solution, with the MatrixNET liquidity distribution platform. The new product offers various features including advanced B-book functionality, automated B-book logic protection, and multiple routing and aggregation methods for brokers and funds to provide the most effective execution model to different client types.

MatrixNET is designed to meet the liquidity aggregation needs of clients of all sizes, from start-ups to enterprise-level businesses.

Tom Higgins, Founder & CEO, Gold-i said, “This is a significant evolution for Gold-i based on a 15-year proven track record of developing reliable technology for the industry and an in-depth understanding of client requirements. Advanced liquidity aggregation is increasingly in demand and Gold-i’s new MatrixNET has been designed to meet the needs of clients of all sizes, from start-ups through to enterprise-level, whether connecting to one or many Liquidity Providers.”

“MatrixNET is a modular, scalable liquidity management system which is super-fast and extremely flexible and can easily be integrated with popular trading platforms. It offers a range of benefits including protecting brokers against latency arbitrage and minimising rejections and slippage. We will continue to invest in the development of MatrixNET with the addition of further features over the next year,” he added.

Gold-i’s Matrix provides a distribution channel of multi-asset class liquidity for a global network of brokers, prime brokers and hedge funds. Members are able to deliver their liquidity to other end-customers through Gold-i’s Matrix, as well as manage their trading book and customize their liquidity through different management tools.

Earlier in July, Gold-i attended the Thailand expo as institutional attention shifts to the Asia Pacific with the expansion of connectivity in key financial hubs, including Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo, to enhance pricing and execution in the region.

The firm’s signature products in APAC are the Gold-i MT4 Bridge & MT5 Gateway, the Matrix liquidity aggregator, and the MT4/5 Multi-Account Manager (MAM), but Gold-i has been increasing focus on its Crypto Switch 2.0 product, especially in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Korea.

On that note, Gold-i has most recently integrated the global credit network Hidden Road to its crypto liquidity aggregation platform in order to offer clients a way to mitigate risk with real-time trade settlement.
