On appointment Sally-Ann Hibberd will join IG’s Board Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee, whereas Jonathan Moulds will join IG’s Board Risk Committee and Board Remuneration Committee.

Electronic trading major IG Group Holdings plc (LON:IGG) continues to bolster its top ranks. In a filing with the London Stock Exchange today, IG says the Board has today agreed to appoint Sally-Ann Hibberd and Jonathan Moulds as additional Non-Executive Directors of the broker.

Given the proximity of the AGM, which is set to take place on September 20th, and the decision by the Board to appoint Ms Hibberd and Mr Moulds, such appointments will take effect on September 20, 2018 at the Board meeting immediately following the AGM. After the meeting, IG is set to make a further announcement. Both Directors will then seek election by shareholders at the 2019 AGM.

On appointment Sally-Ann Hibberd will join the IG Group Board Audit Committee and the IG Group Remuneration Committee. Jonathan Moulds will join the IG Group Board Risk Committee and the IG Group Board Remuneration Committee.

Sally-Ann Hibberd is an experienced Non-Executive Director whose current Non-Executive roles include Equiniti Group PLC and Shawbrook Group PLC where she serves on multiple Board Committees. She has a vast international financial services experience having served as Group Operations and Technology Director at Willis Group and in a number of senior director level roles at Lloyds Banking Group plc.

Jonathan Moulds, who is currently a member of the Advisory Board of the Association for Financial Markets in Europe, has an extensive international financial services experience including time at Barclays plc where he was Group Chief Operating Officer and at Bank of America where he served as Chief Executive Officer of Merrill Lynch International and President of Bank of America Europe.

Let’s recall that, in May this year, IG Group underlined its unfaltering ability to retain and empower top industry talent by elevating two very senior and longstanding leaders to Executive Director status. IG’s Chief Commercial Officer Bridget Messer secured Executive Directorship status, representing her latest accolade during her thirteen year tenure at IG Group.

Jon Noble was also elevated to Executive Director level. He has been with IG throughout his career having first joined IG in 2000 as a graduate trainee, rising to Dealing and Operations Director by 2010.
