RJ O'Brien hires City senior exec Peter Jerrom

North American derivatives brokerage RJ O’Brien & Associates has appointed institutional FX trader Peter Jerrom within the firm’s Listed FX division, based at the firm’s British headquarters in London.

Mr. Jerrom joins RJ O’Brien after almost two years at Sigma Broking in London, where he was FX Desk Head, responsible for FX CME to OTC market makers for both buy and sell side.

Five years at UniCredit Markets & Investment Banking as Managing Director preceded Mr Jerrom’s tenure at Sigma Broking, after a year and a half at Lehman Brothers where he was Head of FX Exotics, remaining with the company until its demise in October 2008.

Back in 2003, Mr. Jerrom joined Barclays Capital as VP, a position he held for four and a half years, his first executive position after five years at Citigroup as an Associate.

Educated at Brunel University in West London, Mr. Jerrom holds a BSc in Mathematics, having graduated in 1997.
