Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) names Head of Internal Audit and Chief Risk Officer
Frenda Li is appointed as Head of Internal Audit, and Darren Kim is named Chief Risk Officer.
Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (SCBHK) today announces the appointments of Frenda Li as Head of Internal Audit, and Darren Kim as Chief Risk Officer. Their respective duties cover all the markets under SCBHK.
Frenda Li succeeds Faith Bhaseen, whereas Darren Kim succeeds Xiaomin Rong.
Frenda Li holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Manchester and is a fellow of the Association of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Hong Kong Institution of Certified Public Accountants. She joined SCBHK in 2005 and has held various senior roles since then. At present, she also holds the titles Regional Head of Audit, Greater China & North Asia, and Global Head of Audit, Private Bank and Wealth Management.
Darren Kim holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Fordham University. He joined Standard Chartered Bank Korea Limited in 2014 and moved to Hong Kong in 2017. At present, he also holds the titles Regional Chief Risk Officer, Greater China & North Asia, and Regional Chief Credit Officer, Greater China & North Asia.
The appointments are effective June 1, 2019.
