Canada: CSA announces changes in Trading Rules

TS Imagine has announced a new office in Montréal, Canada, to boost its North American operations and drive its international growth.

The provider of trading, portfolio, and risk management solutions opened its Montréal development hub in 2019. Since the company’s arrival in Quebec, TS Imagine has benefited from the support and guidance of economic development agencies including Investissement Québec International and Montréal International, the firm said.

Comprising more than 50 people who develop software and analyze data across the firm’s trading, risk, and portfolio management software platform, the TS Imagine team will now have further room to grow in number. The company is actively recruiting.

Rob Flatley, Chief Exexutive Officer of TS Imagine said: “Montréal is a thriving global FinTech hub. Since opening our office in the city three years ago, we have gone from strength to strength, scaling rapidly in response to client demand from across the North American market.”

TS Imagine hired 100 employees in H1 2022

TS Imagine was born this year out of a merger between TradingScreen and Imagine Software and its software is connected to a network of brokers, banks, and exchanges.

The firm revealed strong growth this year on the back of cross-selling products to existing customers and new client acquisitions. TS Imagine has benefited from the current market dynamic which shows preference for multi-asset class trading and investment administration, while meeting enterprise-wide best execution and financial control objectives.

TS Imagine has over 400 employees in 10 offices worldwide, serving approximately 500 buy-side and sell-side institutions in North and South America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific, including hedge funds, traditional asset managers, pension funds, mutual funds, and financial institutions.

The firm has recently connected with Coinbase Prime, the US-based crypto exchange’s prime brokerage arm, to offer institutional clients a fully regulated path to trade cryptocurrencies.
