Providing the appropriate tools for retail traders to learn and hone their trading skills has become essential for not only converting new customers from demo account users to traders, but also for performing the all-important function of maximizing customer retention.

Many methods now exist and Tradimo’s online courses are an innovative example, the company’s ethos being gamification of the training process, which engages retail traders in an entertaining way.

Today, Tradimo has launched a new game for the Apple iOS operating system, which goes live under the name of Little Traders, the rationale being to give players the opportunity to trade in an environment that represents a virtual 1920s Wall Street stock market.

Sebastian tradimo playTradimo believes that by teaching users about trading in a way that is fun and engaging, it will spur interest in trading the real markets for the first time.

The game provides players with credits which they can use with partner brokers which are CMC Markets, FXFlat, Wertpapierhandelsbank and One Financial Markets.

Sebastian Kuhnert, CEO of Tradimo today made a commercial statement on the launch of Little Traders:

“Little Traders has been in development for the last two years and we are very excited that it is now available on the App Store. We’ve had fantastic feedback from those who have trialed it so far and are very excited about the potential of this game to educate traders and significantly grow the pool of traders worldwide.”
