CMC Markets enhances Dashboard of mobile app for iOS devices
The Dashboard of the CMC Start mobile app, which aims to support and educate new traders, now offers three new Watchlist views.
Whereas the latest news around online trading services provider CMC Markets Plc (LON:CMCX) have been focused on its institutional offering, the broker has apparently not forgotten about the retail segment of its business and newbie clients that take their first steps in the trading worlds.
The company has just released the latest version of the CMC Start mobile application for iOS devices. CMC Start is designed to support and educate new traders.
The latest version (5.3.0) of the solution contains a number of Dashboard improvements. These include three new Watchlist views: 2-day trend chart, client sentiment and filtered Reuters News.
CMC Start provides instant access to the most popular global financial markets. The CMC Start account has competitive spreads, is commission-free and comes with negative balance protection. The latter is mandatory under the new requirements for CFD offering to retail clients outlined by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
The application enables trading CFDs across Forex, indices, commodities, shares and treasuries. The list of popular instruments includes Gold, Oil, UK 100, currency pairs such as EUR/USD and GBP/USD, plus Facebook, Apple and Google shares.
Traders can practice trading with virtual money on CMC’s free demo account, and stay informed thanks to the live streaming of Reuters news (on a live account only), a market calendar and CMC’s market analysts’ insights.
In-app features include instant notifications such as price and trade alerts, smart security (such as fingerprint authentication) and easy-to-use charts. Users of the solution can also find out how other clients are trading with CMC’s client sentiment tool.
The other CMC Markets’ applications for iOS devices, including CMC Spread Betting and CMC CFD Trading are also regularly updated. Their Dashboards have been beefed up with more Watchlists views too.
Let’s recall that in December, the CMC CFD trading app saw its Dashboard refreshed – its new layout shows a snapshot of one’s account and popular trading tools. Other changes affected the Notifications centre, which displays new alert types, offers greater customisation capabilities and improved messaging. Charting has also enjoyed an update, as it offers white background, chart extensions and a number of new indicators.
