The latest version of IBKR Mobile enables advisors to see complex, multi-leg positions in their portfolio, and offers traders to stream live Bloomberg TV.

Electronic trading major Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:IBKR) keeps enhancing the capabilities of its mobile solutions. The latest version (8.3.993) of the IBKR Mobile app for Android devices was released earlier today, with the novelties concerning media and trades display.

The updated app enables traders to stream live Bloomberg TV thanks to the new Media tab. It is available in the News/Media tool, along with Portfolio news.

In addition, advisors can now see complex, multi-leg positions in their portfolio.

Trades display is also beefed up, as traders can now view up to seven days of trades (instead of just today’s trades) on the Trades screen. Let’s recall that users of IBKR Mobile for iOS devices can already make use of this functionality.

The latest version of the solution also comes with enhanced cloud Order Presets.

The preceding version of IBKR Mobile for Android gadgets, which was released in August, introduced improvements to Order Entry. Users of the solution got the ability to quickly access Order Entry or view their orders and trades with the new Trader Launchpad button. When traders tap the round, green icon from the Watchlist or Portfolio screen, they can then choose to create a buy or sell order, search a quote, or see details for recent quotes.

Also, a new section in Order Entry shows the account’s Buying Power and asset position.

In July, Interactive Brokers expanded the range of trading instruments available on the IBKR Mobile app for iOS and Android devices by adding mutual funds. One may find a fund using the symbol or fund family name. This happened after earlier this year the mobile apps started offering bonds trading. Users of the solution can trade municipal and corporate bonds.
